A night with Rico Rua
Tutto è nato da un invito ad un evento ristretto presso la Sing Sing (singsing.it) di Milano, dove per far conoscere, a professionisti del settore pubblicitario e musicale, un nuovo interprete del panorama musicale rap di Milano: Rico Rua.
È passato un pò di tempo da allora, ma dopo averlo ascoltato e soprattutto conosciuto abbiamo deciso di realizzare questo progetto partendo dall’assunto che il presente di ognuno di noi è il risultato del suo passato, dell’educazione ricevuta, del contesto sociale nel quale è cresciuto, dei luoghi che ha frequentato, delle amicizie che lo hanno accompagnato negli anni.
Da qui la volontà di Rico di farsi ritrarre nella sua Pero, cittadina nell’interland milanese, dove appunto è nato, cresciuto e formato. Rigorosamente di notte. Per questo progetto ho voluto usare anche la pellicola.
E’ un progetto aperto e in evoluzione.

Everything was born from an invitation to a restricted event at the Sing Sing (singing.it) in Milan, where to know to professionals in the advertising and musical sector a new interpreter of the rap music scene of Milan: Rico Rua.
It’s been a while since then, but after listening to him and above all getting to know him we decided to carry out this project starting from the assumption that the present of each of us is the result of his past, the education received, the social context in which he grew up, the places he frequented, the friendships that have accompanied him over the years.
Hence Rico’s desire to be portrayed in his Pero, a little town in the Milanese interland, where he was born, grew up and trained. Strictly at night.
For this project I also wanted to use the film.
It’s an open and evolving project.
