Il trenino Giallo - Tor Pignattara
Questo progetto è nato come personale quando venni a sapere che il mezzo pubblico, il trenino giallo, forse sarebbe stato dismesso. Si tratta di un mezzo pubblico che ha attraversato le storie di vita di molti quartieri che, lungo il suo percorso, attraversava e che ha rappresentato, per chi ne usufruiva, uno spazio ricco di ricordi di infanzia, adolescenza e maturità. Perché non ritrarre alcune di esse? Grazie al contributo fondamentale dell’Eco museo Casilino (ecomuseocasilino.it) ha preso forma e sostanza. Probabilmente verrà allestita una mostra con i protagonisti e le loro storie legate al trenino in occasione del centenario del quartiere di Tor Pignattara nel 2027.

This project began as a personal when I learned that the public transport vehicle —the Trenino Giallo—might be retired from service. It is a vehicle that has woven itself into the lives of the many neighborhoods along its route, representing a space filled with memories of childhood, adolescence, and adulthood for those who rode it. Why not capture some of those stories? Thanks to the vital contribution of the Casilino Ecomuseum (ecomuseocasilino.it), the project took shape and substance. An exhibition featuring the people involved and their stories connected to the train will likely be held to mark the centenary of the Tor Pignattara neighborhood in 2027.
